Wayne Caron, Ph.D., L.M.F.T. Director
Wayne has worked in dementia care since he began volunteering at his local nursing home at age 13. He has been active as a therapist, researcher and author since 1986 holding positions at the V.A. Medical Center Alzheimer’s Disease Research Center, the Geriatrics Program in the University of Minnesota Medical School. He has been a research director in the School of Public Health and College of Nursing at the University of Minnesota. He is currently Senior Lecturer and Assistant Professor at the Department of Family Social Science. He is co-author with James Pattee and Orlo Otteson of Alzheimer's Disease: The Family Journey
Kevin Doll
Kevin Doll, Ph.D. Reseach
Kevin has been active with the Center since 2001 and coordinates our research and discovery activities. He is an expert in Human Development with special interest in mid life development and differentiation in intimate relations. He received his Ph.D. from the University of Minnesota in 2004 and is currently Assistant Professor at University of Wisconsin Stout.
Carmen Graumann
Carmen Graumann, M.A., L.A.M.F.T. Training and Human Resources
Carmen received her Masters in Marriage and Family Therapy from Bethel Seminary in 2003 and has been active in the Family Caregiving Center since 2001. She has a private therapy practice Courage Facing Hope where she works with persons and families living with chronic conditions including dementia, M.S., Parkinson's and similar disorders.

Faten Khoury, M.S., Post M.A., L.M.F.T. Innovative Project Development

Faten is a doctoral student in the Marriage and Family Therapy program at the University of Minnesota. She received her B.A. in Educational Counseling and Social Sciences in 1992 at Haifa University, Israel. In addition, she received an M.S. in Educational Psychology at Northeastern University, Boston, Massachusetts and a Post-M.A. in Family Psychology at University of St. Thomas Graduate School of Professional Psychology. Her experiences range from providing cross-cultural family therapy with diverse individuals, couples and families to conducting research and teaching. Her areas of interest include cross culture therapy, culturally sensitive and effective clinical interventions, trauma, grief, and families dealing with chronic illness. She has been active with the Center since 2003.

Adine Stoke
Adine Stokes, L.S.W. Outreach and Community Engagement
Adine comes to us from Canada where she completed her social work degree in 1998 at the University of Calgary. In 2003, she obtained her Mediation certification from the University of Hamline. She has devoted her career to working with people with chronic illness and their families. She has extensive experience in the non-profit world and currently works with the ElderCare Rights Alliance. She has been active with the Center since 2001 and provides us with leadership in our community outreach and engagement efforts.
